cycle touring tent Vätternrundan 2018 - The Ride

This video is part 2 of my experience of the Vätternrundan 2018, the ride (you can see part 1 here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FuDx3...). I was a bit worried about sleep deprivation and that my 250km training ride turned into a 150km ride due to a mechanical. Which means the longest training ride I'd had was 200km, leaving a little niggling worry about if my legs would hold out until the end. Watch to see how I get on!

I read about the Vätternrundan about a year ago, I'm not big on sportifs but there was something about this one, a 300km cycle around a lake in Sweden that captured my imagination. So I read up on how to get a spot, marked my calendar with a reminder of the registration date and come to the end of October Nathan and I had a spot in the Vätternrundan (which is Vättern for the lake and rundan for around, you ride around Lake Vättern).
