In Day 24 of 30 Days of Yoga, we practice a reclining kneeling pose. Supta virasana is a challenging action for many so we also provide an alternative. This sequence takes between about 20 minutes and here we introduce one of the more challenging introductory backbends. This sequence will help to increase the strength and mobility in the spine and legs.
The poses we teach in this clip are: Adho Mukha Virasana, Adho Mukha Svanasana, Urdhva Mukha Svanasana, Uttanasana, Tadasana, Supta Virasana, or Parvatasana in Virasana, Jathara Parivartanasana.
